Why I Started Copperance

My name is Sergiu, and I'm a qualified plumbing and heating engineer based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Working in the trade gave me a clear picture of how things are often done, and how much better they could be. That realisation is what drove me to start Copperance. I wanted to build something I could be proud of: a service built around doing things properly, every single time. Not cutting corners because it's quicker. Not recommending work that doesn't need doing. Not leaving a job before it's finished to a standard I'm satisfied with.

I'm what you might call a perfectionist. I care about the details: a joint being neat, a fitting being level, a system being balanced correctly. These things matter to me, not because a client will always notice, but because I will. That's the standard I hold myself to, and it's the standard every Copperance job is held to.

When you book with me, you're not dealing with a company. There's no receptionist, no dispatcher, no subcontractor who turns up instead. You speak to me, you deal with me, and I'm the one who comes to your home and does the work. That means full accountability: if something isn't right, I'll put it right.
